Who we are looking for:
- We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two (2) full years or more experience within the last 2-3 years within the role which they are applying for. Multiple interviews, background check and references will be applied.
- We are seeking very well established, experienced and knowledgeable Retail Sales Associates.
- Must provide a proven record of a successful similar scope of work with references, a proven job history of excellent customer service with references, and a proven history of meeting sales quotas.
- Must be local to the Woodbury Commons Premium Outlet Mall and provide own transportation to and from work that does not impede on working hours.
- Must be able to work Year-Round, up to 5 days per week

Other Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills required.
- Strong writing and typing skills are required.
- College graduates who are well-rounded, organized, and professional are preferred.
- Enthusiastic about fashion
- Seasoned in the luxury fashion retail sales industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Prior in-depth experience working with a retail POS.
- Bilingual speaking is a plus.
- Open and able to learn new skills and receiving training.

As a Poupette St Barth sales representative at all levels, you will be the face of our company! You will highlight our brand while contributing to building our reputation as a company that values its customers, employees, and their opinions. You will be directly responsible for assisting customers, helping them to recognize the value of our products and learn about our brand. We are looking for an experienced key holding sales associate member(s) who is/are capable of learning in-depth about what we sell and can articulate our purpose in a manner that is educational, insightful, professional, and enthusiastic! We are looking for candidates with prior retail experience that will bring their prior knowledge to the table and work efficiently with our requests and requirements. If you are outgoing and enjoy assisting and encouraging others and you are ready to make a positive impact, this is an incredible opportunity for you. You will have great time-management, be very organized and focused in your position. You will help to understand and encourage your team to identify client interests, present and answer questions about our products and services and use suggestive selling. You will actively engage with clients and form long-lasting well-established relationships with them, suggesting new products as it arrives and informing them of new sales and promotions. Job Requirements
- Proficient in verbal and written English language
- Knowledge of who our customer is and market dynamics
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management
- Strong computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Gmail) is highly preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience with similar scope, high-end retail experience highly preferred.
- College-level candidates highly preferred

- Regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required
Job Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers throughout the store and find creative ways to talk about the products and services we provide
- Maintain a superior knowledge of what we sell and be familiar with the relationship of corresponding products so you can upsell to our customers
- Keep the store cleaned, organized, well-stocked, and participate in frequent cleanup to make shopping pleasant and convenient for each of our customers and encourage the team to assist in the task
- Facilitate customer inquiries, answer questions to encourage product sales, and see that escalated requests are addressed and solved immediately
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and position yourself as a personable spokesperson for our company
- Build brand awareness and highlight our company’s reputation by talking about the characteristics that make our products and brand unique to employees and clients
- Participate in daily and weekly team meetings to set personal goals and to familiarize yourself with current promotions, sales, and incentives
- Contribute to helping our company better serve its customers by offering creative insight into improvements that will make our products and services better.
- Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest via phone, email, and messaging services
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance orientated to the brand DNA
- Look out for shoplifters; responsible for security within the store as well as watching out for fraudulent credit cards, false funds, etc., and report issues to management
- Receive shipments, open new arrivals, cross-check, count, and log into the POS system. Store away stock, maintaining current inventory organizational policies and procedures. Memorize and maintain good inventory logging.
- Ensuring that fitting rooms are ready for customers by promptly clearing our merchandise and returning it to the proper area of the selling floor or stock area
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures
- Report daily activities, funds, status to goal, customer feedback, and other important information for improvements to management
- Meet and exceed sales goals, and encourage teams to do the same
- Perform other duties as assigned, mold and be flexible as business needs arise and evolve
- Ensure follow-through of tasks, encourage sales and be the motivation needed to maintain a positive work environment throughout the day.
- Meet KPIs, client retention rates, and sales quotas within a team-setting
- Attempt to turn returns into exchanges and process the returns in the system if necessary
- Handle client issues and complaints as independently as possible in a positive manner while adhering to the store policies
