About This Career

As a member of the Bar Leadership Team, you are on the front lines of service to your team and guests. Your leadership and genuine hospitality provide a foundation for our standards of service and are one of the main reasons why our guests return to our bars. As the Assistant General Manager your team is growing personally and professionally under your care. You are continually practicing responsible service, supporting your team, and stewarding every aspect of the guest’s experience.

Behind the scenes, the AGM works in tandem with the General Manager to assist in the operations of the venue. Learning and understanding the importance of maintaining a Labor Budget that is inline to ensure profitable operations. The Assistant General Manager will also work alongside the General Manger to ensure in-venue ambiance is clearly understood, dialed in and consistent. 

Alongside other members of the Bar Leadership Team, you maintain and oversee the bar's cleaning schedule and are proud of its flawless presentation. You are actively participating in the creation, implementation and marketing of events that will build and drive revenue growth. 

Position Duties:

• Be punctual and ready to hustle
• Provide responsible service of alcohol
• Know all the products, drink recipes, and preparation techniques at your bar.
• Serve each guest with love, kindness and enthusiasm
• Lookout for and nurture your Bartenders & Bar backs.
• Foster relationships and build community around the bar.
• Make a connection with every guest.
• Welcome people into the community and family of your bar
• Always be developing your craft, learn through listening, reading, and research
• Ensuring quality over convenience with every aspect of service
• Work alongside the General Manager to ensure 

About This Bar

In the Summer of 2018, Seven Grand opened its doors on Denver’s historic Dairy Block in the Lower Downtown Denver neighborhood. Seven Grand offers a comprehensive whiskey program featuring 700 whiskeys alongside handcrafted cocktails and local beers on tap. Though Seven Grand provides a selection of craft cocktails, the foundation of the bar was founded upon five classic whiskey varieties — the Old Fashioned, Sazerac, Rye Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, and Mint Julep. For those looking to enhance their knowledge of the spirit, Seven Grand is home to the popular Whiskey Society program where guests can regularly partake in weekly whiskey tastings with master distillers, blenders and brand ambassadors.
