Status: FT Seasonal, Hourly
Shift - Swing Shift (3pm-10pm), Night Shift (10pm - 6am)
Reporting To: Slopes and Snow Quality Manager

The role of our Cat Operators/Groomers is to provide safe and efficient grooming of all Powder Mountain trails and slopes.
Job Responsibilities
- Professional experience operating a Snow Cat - preferred
- Professional experience operating heavy machinery such as a backhoe/grader.
- Abide to all safety training, certifications and standards outlined by Powder Mountain.
- In depth knowledge of Powder Mountains public and private terrain, as well as side country terrain.
- Be aware of fixed obstacles (Trees, Buildings, Rope lines, Trail signs and Maps)
- Communicate effectively using 2-way radio systems.
- Learn and gain experience in Grooming
- Operate under close supervision
- Minimize trail closures thru use of preventative measures.
- Be meticulous about snow quality and grooming lines.
- Conduct routine maintenance on snow cats and log any repairs or damages.
- Preferred 1 to 3 years' experience in snowcat operations.
- Grooms Green and Blue runs only
- Ability to cut and delineate sides of groomed trail. - preferred
- Maintain ramps and terrain park features
- Ability to groom advanced terrain - preferred
- Stay alert at all times and excellent vision.
- Understand how to complete Pre and Post shift equipment checks
- Work nights, weekends, holidays, and on call.
- Desire to work at 9,000ft in inclement weather.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functioning teams
- Reliable transportation, 4x4 vehicle or commitment to using UTA.
- HS Diploma or Professional Experience
