Position Summary:
The Director of Events, Membership at Powder Mountain is a strategic and operational leader dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for club members. This role encompasses oversight of Member events at both Haven and Landing. This role ensures every aspect of membership events reflect excellence, innovation, and the unique culture of Powder Mountain. This leader will drive membership engagement and satisfaction through innovative programming and operational excellence while fostering a welcoming and vibrant community for members.
Job Performance Expectations:
- Event Program Management - lead the planning and execution of large events.
- Continuously enhance the member experience through feedback, innovative programming, and exceptional service delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors, associates and groups to ensure successful events.
- Track and evaluate the success of events and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate communication between all departments for proper events execution.
- Lead a team of event specialists and coordinators.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture within the team.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge in cultivating and executing luxury events and unique experiences.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in an events management leadership role preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building relationships and fostering community.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, creativity, ability to work under pressure.
Physical Requirements - Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to:
- Full range of body movements
- Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (20 lbs)
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
- Climb/descend stairs/ladders
- Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment on an occasional basis
Working Environment: Primarily indoors in temperature controlled environments, subject to conditions at altitude. Exposure to winter conditions as part of travel to and around the work environment.
