Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support for all facilities across Powder Mountain. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support our Facilities Maintenance team in managing work orders and ensuring the coordination and smooth flow of information amongst the facilities team, staff and vendors. The position will ensure strong communication, coordination and customer service while operating in a fast-paced work environment. This role is onsite, full-time hourly, and will report to the Director of Facilities.

Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support for all facilities across Powder Mountain. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support our Facilities Maintenance team in managing work orders and ensuring the coordination and smooth flow of information amongst the facilities team, staff and vendors. The position will ensure strong communication, coordination and customer service while operating in a fast-paced work environment. This role is onsite, full-time hourly, and will report to the Director of Facilities.
Job Performance Expectations
- Work closely with the Facility Maintenance Manager and Lead daily to make sure department needs are being met.
- Assign work orders to Maintenance Technicians daily for completion.
- Follow work orders through to completion and close them as they are completed.
- Work closely with other Powder Mountain departments to ensure work orders are completed promptly and new orders are submitted to the ticketing system.
- Liaison with outside vendors. Tasks such as obtaining quotes, scheduling of work, and making sure invoices are paid.
- Order and track repair parts needed for work order completion.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with scheduling of Maintenance Technicians.
- Participate in facility operating budget planning for the coming year.
- Perform regular site inspections with the Maintenance Manager.
- Assess areas of improvement within the Facility Maintenance Department.
- Ability to coordinate and work with multiple departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems.
- Must be able to handle confidential matters with absolute discretion.
- Proactive solution-based approach which includes strong decision making and judgment.
- Excellent presentation skills, organization, and attention to detail.
- High school Diploma or GED required.
- Must have valid driver’s license – NO major violations on driving record.
- Reliable Transportation Required
- Flexible schedule; work occasional overtime, weekends and holidays as requested
- Experience with Microsoft Office and related software programs.
- Previous maintenance coordinator experience a plus.
- Must abide by the company handbook and department polices & procedures.
- Full range of body movements
- Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (50lbs)
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Must have command of senses – sight, hearing, touch, and smell
- Vision requirements – close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception

- Manual dexterity to operate manual tools and power equipment on a constant basis
