Powder River is seeking a Senior Computer User Support Specialist in the Alexandria, VA area to help support our customer base. A successful candidate will provide end-user support for PC and server applications as well as end user hardware. The candidate may interact with network services, software systems engineering, and / or applications development to restore service and / or identify and correct core problems. Support responsibilities include software installation and configurations. Job duties require the technician to install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals, configure operating system, load shrink-wrap programs and other application software programs.
Responsibilities :
- Contribute to schedule development as requested
- Contribute to metric collection as requested
- Contribute to process development within the functional area and where the functional area connects to other operational processes
