Job Summary:
POWDR has curated a fantastic roster of highly engaged, A-list partners that come to life in incredibly high-touch ways at each of POWDR's business units. In support of the Partnerships function, POWDR is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join the team. The Account Manager will excel in this role with a spectrum of personality traits - bias for action, great communicator, hard-working, organized, culturally switched on, digitally savvy - in service of creating and executing meaningful value-added solutions for both internal and external clients.
Experience should include the ability to creatively problem-solve and handle a multitude of responsibilities including, but not limited to: client strategy and collaboration, administration of client deliverables, external partner communications with various clients, effective project management, and on-site programming/execution as it relates to marketing, activations, projects, and events-all typically tied to brand partnerships and an overall experiential strategy with POWDR business units.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Account Management: the ability to connect and manage individual personalities and deliverables across multiple client teams simultaneously.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an aptitude to genuinely connect with all business levels (internal/external). The ideal candidate enjoys face-to-face interaction with clients and co-workers on an on-going basis and thrives in understanding a brand's objectives to reach common goals.

This includes working with both internal, external and third parties to manage all timelines through strategic planning, sourcing, logistics, implementation, and project retrospective/recap communications.
- Strong Internal/External Communication Skills: Effective and professional approach to all physical and written communications; lover of Apple's Keynote presentation-building program; strong email communication.
- Multi-Tasking: Prioritize, organize and execute in a fun, high-capacity work environment (E.g., does managing a retro dune buggy DJ station build AND executing the party sound fun?).
- Programming & Events Strategy: Resourceful thinking and creative execution for brand partner initiatives such as: consistent activations, large and small-scale events, consumer giveaways, innovative programming, creative brand promotions, asset production/fabrication, and more.
- Account Leadership Qualities:
- Organize and lead weekly status calls with brand partners and internal teams (POWDR properties)
- Manage seasonal partner pre-planning assets and end of year presentations
- Oversee partner hospitality assets (lodging/lift tickets), sweepstakes packages and other contract deliverables
- Effectively build, manage, and report budget status for multiple projects
Ideal qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Passion for the adventure lifestyle! We hope you love skiing and/or snowboarding and/or action sports because, well, that's POWDR's fabric. This person will understand and deeply connect with POWDR core offerings at the business units when needed
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- 5 years of experience in client account/project management or similar
- Background that includes event execution, mountain resort experience and/or marketing would be considered a plus
- Accomplished in effectively managing and executing multiple projects, accounts and partners simultaneously
- Professional, positive and enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills and support for broader company goals
- Proven organizational skills with ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment, often with changing priorities and goals
- Experience working in a small, team-oriented environment that is responsible for numerous projects
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Highly proficient in Microsoft (specifically Excel Powerpoint and Teams), Apple Keynote, and Adobe platforms
Travel:
- This role requires travel to POWDR business unit properties and events throughout the year; travel could be weekly during peak seasons.
NOTE: It's okay if you don't hit 100% of the things we've outlined in this job description. If this role speaks to you and you've got what it takes, send in an application and tell us why. The hiring managers are highly engaged in this search and reading every resume.
Perks? Yes, there are plenty. The best ones are access to POWDR's platform of mountain locations and Woodward experiences, a fun work culture, and discounts on gear and programming.
