Conference Services Admin Assistant
Under the direction of the Director of Conference Services & Catering. Provide administrative support for the Conference Services & Catering and Food and Beverage Departments
Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Conference Services
- Compile and distribute departments operational reports
- Support in the development of SOP’s and various projects
- System Administration for departmental software, including Sales & Catering
- Monitor and coordinate continuous workflow as system administrator of software
- Daily Distribution of Banquet and Restaurant Event Orders and change logs
- Assist with the coordination of in-house BEO’s
- Collaborate administration support with Food and Beverage and Conference Operations Administrative Assistant
- Assist team members as directed
- Attend various meetings and take meeting minutes
- Perform basic office duties
Interactions
- Direct and continuous contact with guests.
- Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments.
- Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2. 6-12 months of customer service and administrative work experience with demonstrated competence.
Skills & Knowledge
Technical:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Amadeus, smsHost, Wrike, InfoGenesis POS and Open Table, preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Must be able to prioritize workload and be efficient and fast, yet thorough.

- Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
Working Conditions
Work Schedule:
40 Hours per week Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some nights and weekends required by workload and special events
Mental:
1. Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.
2. May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
Physical:
General office environment, with foot travel around buildings and resort.
