About the Role
The Data Management Assistant will be responsible for updating, managing, and maintaining a large collection of information that needs to be entered and audited on a continuous basis. Accuracy and data integrity are a must. Troubleshooting processing errors and making corrections will be a top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains database by entering new and updated cost and pricing information.
- Establishes entry priorities.
- Processes manufacturers' source documents and reviews data for deficiencies.
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
- Corrects data when information is incomplete.
- Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.
- Secures information by completing data base backups.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or other relevant training.
- MS Excel vlookup experience.
- Organization skills.
- Quick typing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Confidentiality.
- Thoroughness.
Preferred Skills:
- MS Access.
- Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- HTML, PHP, CSS, MYSQL.
