Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

SECOND SHIFT -- MONDAY - THURSDAY 3:30pm-2:00am

Powell Valley Millwork is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. We are hiring for our Clay City and Jeffersonville locations. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance and upkeep of all equipment. Assist in troubleshooting to keep plant up and running efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate and improve production equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and perform repair as necessary
• Respond quickly to critical production breakdowns
• Display the ability to utilize necessary tools and standard protocols
• Replacing electrical components, such as lighting, photo eyes, push buttons
• Ability to read electrical schematics, not required but appreciated

REQUIREMENTS:

• Three (3) years’ experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician working in an industrial environment
• Strong mechanical, analytical, and solution driven skills
• Display the ability to utilize necessary tools and standard protocols
• Ability to schedule and balance priorities while possessing strong adherence to deadlines
• Comprehensive understanding of safety rules in an industrial setting
• Must be a self-starter able to work independently
• Industrial Electrical experience a plus, but not required

SALARY

Beginning at $26.00 per hour contingent upon the depth of experience, scope of qualifications, and all related certifications. Salary amount listed is a placeholder and may vary significantly based upon experience and interview. This is a newly created position with vast upward mobility in a growing company.
