With more than 700 customers, including major cities and utilities across the Americas, they continue to grow and are seeking experienced Area Sales Managers to join their team in the Central and West regions .
Our client also provides electric utilities with real-time visibility of field assets, such as lighting poles, distribution transformers, and substations, offering valuable data to help optimize performance, allocate resources effectively, and enhance overall service.
Hiring Locations : The company is expanding its Field Sales Team and is seeking Area Sales Managers across the U.S. in locations including California, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North / South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Reporting : Reports to the National VP of Sales
Key Responsibilities :
- Achieve and exceed all sales targets.
- Rapidly develop and expand the sales pipeline.
- Build and manage a multi-state sales territory to drive adoption of our client’s grid solutions.
- Increase sales success by leveraging agent and partner channels in the assigned territory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with electric utility stakeholders, including Investor-Owned Utilities, Municipalities, and Cooperatives.
- Identify and engage potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, providing education and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Analyze market trends and competitive data to position our client’s solutions effectively and adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for sales agents and offer recommendations for improvement.
- Train agents and partners on product offerings and sales strategies.
- Represent the company at national and regional trade shows, webinars, and industry events.
- Travel within the assigned territory approximately 50% of the time.
- Work remotely from a home office.
