What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Co-Op position at Power Drives Inc.?
Objective: Under leadership of a Manufacturing Engineer, provide technical service and support to both internal and external customers. By participating in manufacturing environment related activities and other typical workplace assignments, the Co-Op Engineer will have the opportunity to gain real, hands-on and practical experiences to kick-start their Engineering career.

- Basic Understanding of Electrical Circuits and Low Voltage Systems is considered a plus
Provide support to the Manufacturing Engineer Team per the following:
- Execute Engineering assignments to assist in the development and implementation of Manufacturing Projects
- Create Engineering Drawings for Manufacturing; including New Products, Custom Tooling, Fixtures and Gauges
- Create BOMs and Routers in ERP System for Manufacturing Products and Processes
- Develop Work Instructions and Visual Aids for Manufacturing Products and Processes
- Manage Product and Process changes and associated documentation in conjunction with ECN processes
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering in Troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day Manufacturing challenges, including Product or Process related items such as Custom Tooling, Fixtures or Gauges, as well as Equipment related issues
- Conduct Capability Studies to validate Manufacturing Processes and Product Quality Assurance
Salary : $17 - $20
