GIS Analyst III
Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities :
- Migrate networked and non-networked data to ESRI solutions.
- Update and maintain geospatial datasets within the ESRI framework.
- Perform data entry and validation tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standards.
- Follow standard procedures to manage data integrity, helping ensure the accuracy and consistency of the utility network.
- Use ArcGIS Pro tools to perform spatial analysis tasks (e.g., buffer, selection, and overlay) to support reporting and project needs.
- Generate maps and visualizations to communicate spatial data to team members and clients.
- Interpret and analyze data trends.
- Participate in data quality control processes by reviewing and correcting data inconsistencies or errors in the utility network.
- Assist in running data checks to identify missing or incorrect information.
- Document findings and work closely with senior team members to resolve data issues.
- Keep detailed records of updates and changes made to GIS data to ensure transparency and repeatability.
- Assist in maintaining user manuals and documentation related to GIS processes.
- Provide entry-level support to end-users for basic tasks, escalating more complex issues to senior staff.
