Job Description

Responsible for supporting systems within the business to ensure reliability and scalability, as well as reporting and internal customer service for routine and ad-hoc requests. Takes requests from team to develop, modify and maintain critical business reports for the enterprise.

Responsible And Accountable For

  • Develop reporting solutions based on user requests; analyze data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schema(s) and develop, amend, and optimize to meet user and system(s) requirements.
  • Designs, develops, analyzes test, modifies, implements, documents and maintains complex reports.
  • Working with on prem and cloud based applications.
  • App development for business efficiency.
  • Report development against data warehouse and other data repositories to include the financial core –Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
  • Gather, analyze, and normalize relevant information related to and from business processes, functions, and operations in order to evaluate data credibility, and determine relevance and meaning.
  • Identifies and researches data issues and works with teams to correct or improve issues.
  • Evaluate existing or proposed systems to structure and access databases.
  • Provides data extraction services for those needing data to be input into other systems and/or off-line data analysis.
  • Model, develop, and support Database Management Systems (DBMS)
  • Identifies opportunities to use existing data sources to create strategies and improve business performance.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of documentation for custom programs and processes.
  • Manage, assist and advise on various potential developmental projects within the company.
  • Also assist with management and troubleshooting of network.
  • IT Vendor management.
  • MDM application and internal customer service for mobile devices.
  • Web-based Phone System Management & Support
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), Sharepoint Online, Office 365
  • SQL views, stored procedures, functions
  • SQL Server data warehouse and use of data cubes
  • Microsoft Visual Studio.Net
  • Power BI
  • Visual Studio, BIDS (Business Intelligence Development System)
  • MS Excel & Office 365 Tools
  • Salesforce, Mailchimp, Wordpress
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories in application development relative to business systems software and web applications.
  • Ability to resolve technical issues related to report creation, data manipulation and report calculations.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of business and organizational reporting needs.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge with current and emerging reporting technologies.
  • Ability to bridge disparate systems to support progress with corporate reporting initiatives.
  • Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards.
  • Interpret requests and analyze factual information to adapt or modify processes in response to changing circumstances.
  • Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new or changing technology.
  • Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for team and manages changes to such specifications.
  • Possess an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge.
  • Excellent communication skills, and self-motivated (especially when involving the learning of new technologies). Must be able to proactively communicate issues, status, updates or problems to fellow team members, management, and/or the entire Technology Department.
  • Work and communicate with a wide range of people – peers, vendors, the public, staff members including program leadership, and others.
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment, multi-task and prioritize key tasks in order to consistently meet given deadlines.
  • Must be able to act independently or work within a team on assigned tasks.

Education/Experience

  • Candidate must have 3 Years relevant experience with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters
