Overview
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A DANCE INSTRUCTOR. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Dance Instructors to join our vibrant team. We are looking to hire for our morning homeschool hours as we are creating a new homeschool dance program. You will get to pick which days you want to teach. Times open between 10am-1pm
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a commitment to fostering a love for movement in students of all ages. This role involves teaching various dance styles, creating engaging lesson plans, and inspiring students to express themselves through dance. The Dance Instructor will work closely with students in a supportive environment that encourages creativity and personal growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the needs and skill levels of students.
- Teach various dance styles, ensuring that each class is engaging and educational.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and self-expression.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
- Organize and participate in recitals, performances, and other events to showcase student progress.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall dance program.
- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and teamwork among students.
- Stay updated on current dance trends and techniques to continually enhance teaching methods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dance instruction or related fields such as theater or early childhood education.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, with the ability to create engaging and effective curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with children and young adults effectively.
- A passion for teaching dance and nurturing the talents of young dancers.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs.
