Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all systems.
- Maintain and improve cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Document processes and contribute to the improvement of development workflows.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related areas are a plus.
- Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Basic understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Skills:
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring system security and reliability.
- This is an unpaid role until our client's next round of fundraising. Upon successful fundraising, compensation will be aligned with market standards for junior-level DevOps engineers in the US.
