What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vacuum Plumbing Service Technician position at Power & Process, Inc.?
We at Power & Process are looking to grow our team with the addition of another Vacuum Plumbing Service Technician. This technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining Acorn Vacuum plumbing system for a variety of customers in areas that range from New Jersey to NH including NY, MA and CT.
Responsibilities
Technicians will be required to travel to location to perform maintenance and emergency service to all of our customers in the Northeast. There is a 4 week on-call rotation that the new technician will be part of once trained. This will require some after hours work during your on-call rotation. Traveling to other parts of the country for work or training may also be required in the future.
Qualifications
-Need to be familiar with standard hand tools and power tools (Drills, screw drivers, sockets, ratchets, ext.). Not required to bring your own tools. Tools and a company vehicle will be provided after the training period is over.
-Need to be able to follow direction and clearly communicate to customers, co-workers and other vendors
-Need to be willing to travel
-Need to have common knowledge of mechanical systems
-Need to have common troubleshooting skills
