Key Responsibilities
- Develops and trains AM and Sales Support staff.
- Implements and manages telemarketing programs.
- Interfaces with AMs on a daily basis to help analyze customer needs, to improve telephone skills, and to offer support, direction, & pricing information on major bids.
- Interfaces with vendors on new product introductions, visits key accounts as needed, and schedules product training for AMs on a regular basis.
- Reviews sales & GP% goals and results on a monthly basis.
- Interacts with other department managers in helping AMs and Sales Support to operate within guidelines and to work more efficiently.
- Attends appropriate tradeshows in order to stay abreast of technology and market changes.
- Manages and accounts for sales and GP volume in appropriate division, targets specific products to promote, and works with the Purchasing Department on select vendors.
- Develops and negotiates contracts and helps establish budgets and sales goals.
- Acts as backup to process and retrieve orders, pertinent bids/tenders as required.
- Monitors Cases.
