The Regional Sales Manager for MIROC will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships with our customers and end users. The primary responsibility will be to successfully partner with customers to sell a range of products to supporting the build of the US datacom infrastructure in both the wireless and aerial hardware end-markets. The Regional Sales Manager will manage and have direct sales responsibility for a multi-state sales territory.
Responsibilities
Drive the expansion and advancement of the MIROC brand and product line through supplying distributors in wireless telecom and pole line hardware channels.
Identify and support customer relationships and develop plans to gain additional wallet share through the cross-selling of our product offering.
Identify, negotiate, and implement new stocking agreements.
Develop and implement a sales action plan based on a thorough data analysis of the territory sales and aligned to the company sales plan cross selling all brands within the PUPCO brand portfolio.
Identify new prospects, set web conferences and in-person appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all MIROC product categories.
Perform consistent follow up on all outstanding quotations, generate new leads, build new relationships, foster and improve relationships with existing customers, organize daily calendar, and schedule to call on existing and potential customers routinely.
Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports and customer sales data reports as needed.
Maintain working relationships with our existing distributor customers to ensure that they continue to receive exceptional service and grow their business.
Achieve defined sales targets.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to translate “Voice-Of-The-Customer” into actionable requirements.
Highly organized and efficient, handling competing priorities with composure and professionalism.
Able to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, cross-functionally, to identify under-serviced market opportunities and formulate team-derived solutions including new product introductions and development of fulfillment solutions to meet customer needs.
Strong technical aptitude with an ability to transcend and align product verticals by identifying and augmenting cross-sell opportunities.
Education and Experience
Proficiency with ERP, CRM – IE : or other sales management software.
Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Proven work experience as a Territory Sales Manager or similar role.
Ability to build productive business professional relationships.
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
BS / BA degree or equivalent (p referred, not required ).
Working Conditions
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, traveling, and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds for short periods.
Must be able to travel up to 50% to build customer relationships, prospect new customers, and attend industry shows.
