About the Role:
We are seeking a Coating Technician to join our team at PowerBuilt. As a Coating Technician, you will be responsible for applying coatings to various surfaces, ensuring that they meet the required specifications. You will work closely with our production teams to ensure that all coatings are applied correctly and on time. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a coating or painting role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with powder coating
- Experience with automated coating equipment
- Experience with quality control and inspection processes
Responsibilities:
- Apply coatings to various surfaces using a variety of techniques, including spray method
- Ensure that all coatings meet the required specifications and are applied correctly
- Work closely with fabrication and production team members to ensure that all coatings are applied on time and to the required quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of all coatings applied and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the coating area
