Location: Sidney, OH – New Site in America manufacturing Lithium-Ion Batteries
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $70,000 - $74,000 per year
Company Overview:
The world’s largest producer of lithium-ion battery separator film, is establishing its first U.S. worksite with a $1 billion investment. This site will be pivotal in producing key components for electric vehicle batteries, energy storage, and consumer electronics. Job Responsibilities:
- Parameterize each machine according to the manufacturing reference book to ensure optimal operation
- Report any production downtime exceeding 1 hour to the line director and address equipment abnormalities by contacting the equipment department and completing the maintenance record sheet
- Manage process adjustments and communicate quality abnormalities to the quality department
- Ensure the fastest speed to send the first piece to slitting and stay informed about slitting progress
- Oversee the production progress of each machine and maintain product quality, ensuring all machines meet quality standards during the shift
- Perform spot checks on production data, film surface, and defect gauges for each machine
- Ensure authenticity, accuracy, and traceability of production data
- Check the implementation of LPA hierarchical audits and confirm the workshop production environment meets requirements
- Supervise and verify that machines are operating according to specification switching processes and ensure proper 9S implementation
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of machine parameters and process management
- Proven experience in production quality control and data management
- Ability to troubleshoot and report equipment and production issues effectively
- Experience performing spot checks and audits in a manufacturing environment
- Leadership skills and attention to detail in ensuring quality and production standards
