Powercon Corp is a leading switchgear manufacturing company dedicated to providing high-quality electrical solutions.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will create accurate technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support our engineering/manufacturing teams to illustrate visual instructions that relate to technical specifications and industry standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce and revise detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints based on project specifications.
- Use industry-standard CAD software ( AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) to create high-quality designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to produce accurate design plans
- Maintain accurate and organized records of drawings, revisions, and project details.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project requirements
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
- Ability to build accurate models and drawings based on project specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
SKILLS:
- 2 years of relevant work experience in a mechanical drafting position is a plus
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exercises a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
