Responsibilities
- Assist linemen in the installation and maintenance of powerlines and related equipment.
- Operate bucket trucks and other machinery as needed for overhead work.
- Utilize voltmeters and other tools to assist in troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Conduct utility locating to ensure safe digging practices around existing infrastructure.
- Climb poles or structures as required for various tasks.
- Support field service operations by providing necessary materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all safety regulations are followed on-site.
Requirements
- Experience with low voltage systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure is a plus.
- Background as an industrial or commercial electrician is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to climb heights safely.
