Procurement Manager
PowerPak is growing and we have a Procurement Manager role to fill in the New York Metro Area.
Pay: $130k-$150k
Full Time Position, working 5 days a week out of our Rockland County NY Office
Position Statement
Complete responsibility for every aspect of the supply chain from sourcing through to delivery of products to PowerPak’s facilities. This includes a particular focus on achieving order fulfillment targets, lean inventory management and active cost cutting efforts to maximize margins.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and lead the supply chain team to ensure company performance metrics are achieved.
- Oversight of the procurement process which includes buying (import and domestic), forecasting and purchase order management.
- Create, sustain, and update supply chain processes to maximize efficiency and performance.
- Full responsibility for the management of all vendors, which includes routine audits and reviews, negotiation, managed programs, compliance, and quality control.
- Instrumental in sourcing overseas and domestic suppliers, including the vetting of the entities and products.
- Inventory management, including excess stock, inventory balancing between locations, and minimizing inventory DOH’s to conserve free cash flow.
- Oversight of the item life cycle, from creation through to sunset. Includes item record & data accuracy and onboarding and offboarding items.
- Responsible for up to date and accurate item costing and margin tracking, including cost cutting measures to maximize margins.
- Oversight of all domestic & International freight programs.
- Responsible for OEM branded product QC and compliance.
Requirements
- Proficient in ERP programs & the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc).
- Proficient with operational and financial metrics and reporting.
- Minimum 2 yrs experience in a wholesale or buy/sell company – preferably B2B.
- Education which includes some aspect of Supply Chain and Purchasing. A APICS certification is a plus but not required.

Prior success selling Industrial or Construction supplies to Construction Companies is helpful but not required.
Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is helpful but not required.
