Yard Manager

Powers & Sons Construction, recognized by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana for the past four years, is seeking a full-time Yard Manager. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Yard Manager to oversee our facility's outdoor spaces, equipment management, and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and experience in facilities maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure all property grounds are maintained in a clean, professional, and litter-free condition

· Oversee landscape maintenance at office locations and company properties

· Maintain organized and efficient storage facilities

· Maintain comprehensive inventory of company tools and equipment

· Implement and manage tool marking system with unique identification numbers

· Oversee maintenance and repair of tools and equipment

· Process and track equipment repair requests and new purchase requirements

· Manage requisition system for tools and supplies

· Maintain detailed records of tool assignments and locations

· Process requisition forms accurately and promptly

· Maintain updated documentation of all company tools and equipment

· Coordinate with various departments to fulfill equipment needs

· Manage and track maintenance schedules

· Demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliable attendance

· Communicate proactively regarding any schedule changes or unexpected absences

· Complete assigned tasks and errands in a timely manner

· Work independently with minimal supervision

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment needs

Minimum Requirements

· Previous experience in facilities or equipment management

· Strong organizational and inventory management skills

· Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation

· Knowledge of general maintenance and landscaping practices

· Excellent time management and communication skills

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record

· Physical ability to lift and move equipment as needed

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
