Job Brief
As a Materials Flow Coordinator, your mission is to steer materials logistics, uphold inventory standards, and ensure seamless production supply, managing both tactical tasks and personnel leadership.
Duties
Strategically align part provision services and implement effective standards for materials management. Supervise inventory practice, through reconciliation of physical stock against system reports. Leverage visual materials organization for lean inventory design. Drive the processes for stock replenishment coordination harmonizing efforts with purchasing strategies. Incorporate logistics knowledge to handle diverse projects and manage vendor interactions. Develop structured plans for ongoing cycle counting ensuring data accuracy. Lead a flexible workforce focused on resolving material discrepancies and optimizing efficiency. Ensure continuous improvement through structured training and leadership as a change advocate. Collaborate on cross-departmental issues for streamlined materials flow solutions. Manage and sustain budget accountability within the warehouse domain. Continuously optimize production procedural accuracy and material flow analytics to enhance performance metrics.Necessary Qualifications
- High school completion or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Five years or more in materials management roles required.
- Commitment to lean manufacturing techniques essential.
Additional Proficiencies
- Bachelor’s education considered favorably.
- Manufacturing experience deeper than five years preferred.
- Certifications in Lean Methodologies, APICS, Six Sigma highly regarded.
- Forklift and crane operation, alongside OSHA completions are advantages.
