Your Responsibilities:
You will play a pivotal role as a Shipping/Receiving Specialist by managing the logistics of material handling and documentation logistics while supporting the site with large crate and container construction. When available, contribute to basic manufacturing tasks.
- Lead efforts on cycle counting, materials placement, order navigation, and packing processes.
- Be adaptable and perform additional duties as necessary.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent education.
- A year or more vested in receiving and inventory experience.
- Own a valid driver’s license with a good driving reputation.
- Forklift expertise is a must.
- Capable of handling 50 pounds.
- Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are a bonus.
Preferences That Enhance Your Fit:
- Three years' experience in receiving/inventory roles preferred.
- Knowledge of international and domestic shipping broadens your candidacy.
- Manufacturing environment experience adds to your strength.
- Certifications in crane and forklift operation are seminal.
- Completion of OSHA-10 further solidifies your appeal.
Core Competencies:
- Using saws and hand tools safely and effectively.
- An understanding of the principles guiding material production and processing enhances your role.
- ERP system familiarity is helpful.
- Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required.
- Sound mathematical prowess.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, and ability to interpret technical texts.
