Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Estimation Manager to join our team at Powerwell. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing detailed scopes of work and backup documentation for review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing proposal specifications, drawings, and attending pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
- Preparing detailed MEP scopes of work and backup documentation for review.
- Soliciting project-specific proposals from subcontractors and suppliers and evaluating them for completeness and competitiveness.
- Developing options and recommending the best value solution based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
- At least 7 years of estimating experience.
