JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering & Quality Manager to lead engineering and quality teams in Angola, Indiana. This role requires a seasoned leader with expertise in both quality and engineering management, who is motivated to grow within a company dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement.
As the Engineering & Quality Manager, you will oversee both engineering and quality departments, manage major manufacturing projects, and ensure production targets are met. This position plays a crucial role in refining processes, reducing environmental impact, and maintaining budgetary oversight.
- Location: Angola, Indiana
- Salary: $130,000 - $155,000, depending on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering & Quality Leadership:
- Lead process and quality engineers in designing, developing, and modifying products to meet and exceed customer standards.
- Oversee product development, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering at the Angola facility.
Project and Production Management:
- Direct strategic product launches and collaborate closely with clients to optimize design and manufacturability.
- Manage key manufacturing projects to ensure alignment with production targets and support company growth initiatives.
Efficiency & Environmental Initiatives:
- Drive continuous process improvement efforts and explore ways to reduce the facility’s environmental footprint.
- Attend and lead budget-focused meetings to maintain cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Team Development:
- Foster a high-performance culture within the engineering and quality teams, setting high standards and providing regular coaching.
- Delegate and assign tasks effectively to enhance team productivity and individual growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, business administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Five or more years of engineering management experience, with hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes and product launches.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards is highly preferred.
