JOB DESCRIPTION:
Powerwell is a leading recruitment firm helping our clients discover top talent. Currently, we are looking for a Manufacturing & Quality Engineering Manager in Angola, IN to provide leadership of our engineering and quality staff and oversee significant manufacturing projects. Responsible for daily management of the technical and engineering support for a contract manufacturer of medical devices for medical devices. Lead a team of Process and Quality Engineers to design, develop and modify of product; improve manufacturing processes, and ensure quality standards in line with customer requirements. Recommend and overlook expansion and modernization of manufacturing facilities.
LOCATION: Angola, IN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product development, all manufacturing engineering and all quality engineering for the Angola facility.
- Overseeing significant manufacturing projects, ensuring they achieve our production targets and support our long-term growth.
- Taking the lead on product development, you coordinate key strategic launches and work directly with customers to determine how we can best meet their needs.
- Always looking for ways to improve our efficiency and reduce our environmental impact.
- Attend and lead meetings to keep us on budget and constantly improving.
- In addition to managing processes, you will manage our most critical asset, our people.
- As the Engineering and Quality Manager, you will provide strong leadership to your team to help them excel in their roles through setting high standards for performance and through regularly coaching your staff, empowering them to succeed in their roles in engineering and quality.
- This role requires a manager who understands how to effectively delegate and assign work to maximize efficiency in our processes as well as growth and development of our people.

- Lead initiatives involving CNC manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure product development efforts align with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) is required.
- Experience in manufacturing processes along with product launch.
- Experience in CNC manufacturing processes required.
- Proven track record in product development, from concept through production.
- 5 or more years of experience directing, managing, or supervising engineering functions is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO13485.
