Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Project Operations, the Senior Program Manager (Control Tower) will lead the development, execution and continuous improvement of Powin’s Control Tower program and other strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for establishing best-in-class governance, reporting and decision-making frameworks for the execution of Powin’s supply and service engagements. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in program management, data-driven decision-making and change management, along with exceptional executive-level communication and presentation skills to influence executive stakeholders and foster alignment across the organization.
Job Details:
- Define, implement and drive continuous improvement of the Control Tower governance framework, ensuring efficient decision-making and cross-functional alignment
- Serve as the strategic interface between project teams and senior/executive leadership, translating complex technical and operational insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Drive alignment between Control Tower initiatives and organizational strategic objectives, ensuring seamless integration across project execution functions.
- Lead end-to-end program execution, identifying and proactively mitigating risks while maintaining alignment with organizational strategic objectives
- Define, track, and report on key metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and program health metrics, leveraging data analytics for insights and continuous improvement
- Create, develop, maintain and deliver executive-level presentations, reports and dashboards that synthesize complex data into compelling, strategic narratives
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Lead and define change management efforts to drive the adoption of Control Tower best practices across the organization
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, leveraging Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Mentor and coach other project managers across the Projects organization, fostering skill development and guidance on best practices and project management methodologies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within a technology, energy, or manufacturing environment
- 8 years of proven experience managing large, complex projects and programs across multiple departments or functions
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to communicate complex information effectively to executive audiences, with polished presentation and influencing skills
- Expertise in building governance frameworks, managing escalations, and driving alignment at the leadership level
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or higher) or demonstrated experience in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
- Remote opportunity within the United States with the ability to travel as needed for business

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills. The national Average Base Salary Range is $144,000 - $183,000. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
