Primary Objective:
To lead and manage Spectrums Strategic Pricing Team, overseeing the effective orchestration of quoting opportunities through structured tools, standardized processes, and strategic collaboration across teams. This role will run a central hub for managing pricing, cost analysis, and general prioritization while identifying opportunities and leading process improvements to ensure timely and accurate strategic pricing. The goal of this position is to drive growth through innovative approaches to process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure alignment between sales leadership, product teams, and site leadership to maintain efficiency in quote handling.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the team to optimize workflow and improve decision-making in pricing and cost structuring.
- Manage, maintain, and grow key pricing tools, such as cost calculators and the pricing configurator, to ensure smooth quote execution.
- Leverage market intelligence to ensure all quotes are realistic to market expectations and competitive against the competition.
- Review quote delivery timelines, ensuring that throughput and processing speeds meet customer and internal business expectations.
- Own the relationship between the Strategic Pricing Team and stakeholders across sales, product management, and leadership teams.
- Oversee the site selection process for RFQs that may be fulfilled from multiple sites, considering operational efficiency and financial optimization.
- Coordinate key touchpoints across pricing-input parties, ensuring that all necessary inputs are gathered efficiently to keep quote responses timely.
- Identify process improvements and potential automation to ensure the quote is the most cost-effective to the customer and maximizes the companys profit potential.
- Work with company leadership to identify and accomplish strategic financial goals related to pricing decisions, ensuring profitability and market competitiveness.
- Periodically refine margin modeling guidelines leveraging data analytics, ensuring margin tools remain in-line with company strategic objectives and market.

Qualifications:
- Management, Business and/or Engineering Degree or advanced degree is highly recommended. Appropriate experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience managing operations or production medical components and/or finished devices. CDMO experience preferred.
- Candidate must have experience managing teams or leading cross-functional groups in sales, finance, or operations.
- Candidate must have proficient knowledge of pricing mechanics, financial margin analysis, and financial concepts.
- Candidate preferred to have proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and strong organizational skills to optimize quote processing workflows.
- Candidate preferred to have advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data modeling, pricing simulations, and cost structure analysis.
