The Technical Service Coordinator is action-oriented, he/she must have a willingness to learn, work well within
a team, have integrity, and respect when dealing with others, good verbal and written communication skills, project management, results oriented, able to provide direction on technical and complex issues to support personnel, able to work under pressure, able to work a flexible work schedule, knowledge on plant capabilities and existing processes, administrative skills. The Technical Service Coordinator supports site and divisional engineering activities across the Fluid Management and Flexibles (F&F) Division.
Typical Duties:
- Able to use software FMP and IQMS.
- Enters new engineering orders and updates workflows for commercial and engineering orders.
- Creates BOMs for engineering and commercial parts. Reviews update part numbers with new revisions, packing, or special instructions.
- Can provide support to other departments by educating new employees on the IQMS system or by supporting the customer service department.
- Lean Improvement on IQMS/BrainSurf
- Support customers with the explanation of Invoicing, credit issues (credit hold), request cash in advance, and Proforma Invoices.
- Support other sites with run package information.
- Engineering SO clean up (Follow up Eng. Backlog, invoicing, closure)
- Old item codes clean up. (Old revisions, inactivate parts) Initiate DCNs for commercial & engineering orders (tooling, special instructions, speeds, etc.)
- Find retainer samples.
- Fully support the Engineering Team.
- Work order retrieval for environmental studies. (100 work orders).
- Compliance with all SPG policies and Code of Conduct standards.

- Responsible for understanding and complying with all SPG and Dupont safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for recognizing and reporting safety hazards and early reporting of work-related pain/injury.
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree desired.
- 5 years of proven experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of proven experience.
- Computer skills to include, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Salesforce. Working with other business and database programs may be required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately protect information and documents
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures, including record keeping, report preparation, filing methods, and the operation of common office equipment
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to maintain records, compile reports and make accurate mathematical calculations
- Ability to complete tasks with limited direction and supervision
- Create, review & maintain daily, weekly, & monthly reports
The Technical Service Coordinator will confer with all levels of management and staff at Spectrum in his/her daily activities.
