Business Intelligence Intern
The Business Intelligence Internwill be responsible for data analytics, ETL processes, report creation andmaintenance. This will require an understanding of our current operations anddeliverables to our customers. The successful candidate will need to learndifferent aspects of data reporting and learn advanced techniques in data transformations.The candidate must have a backgroundor education in reporting utilizing tools such as PowerBI and SQL reporting. This role must also communicate andwork closely with various operations and support branches to help them achieveoperational, company, branch, and department goals.
Operational Service and Support
- Report creation and maintenance to meet needs of various customers
- Create and maintain Power Bi Power Reports and datasets from existing data sources
- Collaborate with corporate IT / Infrastructure team to enhance overall performance for the business units
- Dashboard creation and maintenance
- Conduct research and make recommendations on infrastructure products, services, protocols, and standards
- Technical writing
- Data analytics and business intelligence
- Improve and automate access to data and reports
- Experience or course work with Office 365, Power BI, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), M (Power Query Formula Language) and various technologies such as Microsoft Azure and SQL Server.
- Ability to develop custom reporting solutions using multiple technologies.
- Proficiency in understanding efficient and scalable data models. This includes understanding relationships, hierarchies, and implementing appropriate modeling techniques.
- Ability to perform data transformations cleansing operations
- Organizational Awareness : Having and using knowledge of systems, situations, procedures, and culture across all PPC companies to identify potential problems and opportunities; perceiving the impact and the implications of decisions on other components of the organization.
