  • Maintain Grooming Standards: Ensure dogs are clean and well-groomed by brushing fur, wiping paws, and sometimes bathing dogs if required.

4. Health and Safety

  • Monitor Health: Observe dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or distress, such as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or coughing, and report any issues to a supervisor or veterinarian.
  • First Aid and Emergencies: Be prepared to provide basic first aid to dogs in case of minor injuries or emergencies and know how to respond to urgent situations.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Ensure all safety procedures are followed, including proper leash handling, securing gates, and maintaining a safe play environment.

5. Customer Service

  • Communicate with Pet Owners: Provide updates to dog owners about their pet’s behavior, activities, and health. This could include giving daily reports on how the dog interacted with others or any concerns noticed.
  • Answer Inquiries: Respond to questions from clients about the facility, services offered, and their pet’s experience.
  • Check-In/Check-Out Procedures: Assist with the check-in and check-out of dogs, ensuring proper records are kept regarding feeding schedules, special instructions, and emergency contact information.
