Overview:
Provides assistance to attorneys representing PPL Corporation and its subsidiaries on various transactions, consisting of company financings, Securities and Exchange Commission and other corporate regulatory filings, including reports on Forms 10-K/Q, proxy statements and Section 16 filings, 10b5-1 trading plan management, restricted trading policy compliance, as well as support of the corporate governance function and subsidiary management. This assistance could also include support before courts and federal and state regulatory agencies on finance authorizations and related filings and annual compliance reports. Duties include, but are not limited to, due diligence review, corporate record support, management of multiple work streams regarding ongoing projects, complex legal research, fact investigation, and preparation of draft legal documents. Investigates legal matters and responds as appropriate and tracks work-in-progress. Assists attorneys in mitigating legal risk exposure to the Company and its subsidiaries, including compliance with applicable legal requirements. This is an intermediate level role without formal supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to attorneys representing PPL Corporation and its subsidiaries.
- Assists in providing extensive and complex legal research, fact investigation and writing, including preparation of draft legal documents and regulatory filings.
- Assists in effective project management of complex financings, including document control and timely completion of due diligence requests, etc.
- Contribute to a climate of cooperation and credibility by effectively communicating with various PPL employees, state and federal agencies, and outside counsel.
- Provide assistance in administrative and financial functions, including tracking of work-in-progress.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved progra or another paralegal program acceptable to the company
- 2 years of legal experience in a paralegal or related position
- Experience in problem analysis and problem solving
- Experience in reviewing and summarizing legal documents and procedures with little or no direction
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications and databases, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Microsoft Forms
- Effective interpersonal skills
