What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial painter position at PPS-HPS?
PPS is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter for our metal fabrication facility in Bedford. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits and growth opportunities!
Responsibilities :
- Prep materials (metal products) for painting, i.e. grinding, sanding, masking, buffing, etc.
- Paint unfinished products to customer specifications
- Quality assurance checks prior to finish
- Perform finishing responsibilities (QC, buff / polish, packaging, etc.)
- Cleaning and maintaining paint equipment
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess :
- A minimum of 1 year of industrial painting experience
- Ability to read precision measurement instruments
- Proven record of performing high attention-to-detail tasks
- Comfort working with chemicals
- Basic math and computer skills
