Remediation Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team in the remediation and restoration industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for helping clients restore their properties to their original condition. This role involves hands-on work in various restoration projects, including water damage restoration, fire restoration, asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and more! The Technician will be responsible for utilizing both hand and power tools effectively while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

• Build and restore damaged areas of properties using appropriate techniques and materials.
• Perform carpet cleaning and restoration tasks to ensure surfaces are clean and presentable.
• Conduct asbestos abatement procedures in compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various restoration projects efficiently.
• Clean work areas thoroughly after completing tasks to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop effective restoration plans.
• Follow all safety protocols while working on-site to protect yourself and others.
• Remediation of water, mold, and fire.

Skills

• Proficiency in building, cleaning, and restoring various materials within the restoration industry.
• Experience with carpet cleaning techniques is preferred.
• Knowledge of asbestos abatement practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in restoration work.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in all tasks performed.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during projects.
• Ability to utilize a computer and cell phone to document work activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.82 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
