Event Producer
PRA Events is seeking a reliable and qualified Event Producer who is detail-oriented with an ability to multitask in a dynamic fast-paced and hands-on work environment. We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude to oversee and organize events across the Hawaiian Islands.
Applicants must reside in Hawaii to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
- Responsible for the logistical management and operational execution of client events and programs pre-and post-production
- Serves as the primary contact for the client during the pre-planning and operation of the client's program post-sale and ensures the expectations of the client are exceeded to promote client satisfaction and account retention
- Management of all vendor quotes, orders and acquiring required services
- Management of all shipping and trucking, load lists and product pull lists
- Develop run sheets/full detailed timelines, show flows and event blueprints
- Management of event staff, contracted vendors, and entertainers
- Management of all event décor, floral, branding, signage and custom projects
- Attend required client meetings both virtually and in-person
- Point of contact for hotel and client during planning process and onsite
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
- Creation and management of program budgets
- Responsible for submitting preliminary and final billing statements for every program
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Event Management of corporate meetings, client events, and other complex programs. DMC, corporate incentive travel, hospitality or related experience highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of clients, vendors and coworkers
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, vendors and hoteliers
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple programs with different deadlines
- Must be able to work well with all levels of management and staff, hoteliers, clients and vendors
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Must be able to travel to neighboring islands
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year. Based on experience.
