Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Manage medical scheduling, including booking appointments, confirming visits, and rescheduling as necessary.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member
- Collaborate with healthcare provider and staff to facilitate efficient patient flow within the office.
- Provide support for insurance verification and eligibility checks when necessary.
- Handle patient billing and process payments
Skills
- Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Proficiency in medical scheduling software and basic medical coding knowledge is a plus.
- Strong administrative skills with an emphasis on organization and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards patients and colleagues alike.
- Medical Billing and Coding knowledge is a plus.
