As we expand our reach and enhance our service offerings, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to lead our clinical operations while ensuring our business functions run smoothly, ethically, and with vision.

Position Overview: The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) at Practical Audacity will combine leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic vision to oversee the organization's mental health services while guiding its growth and success. This key leadership position bridges the gap between clinical practice and business strategy, ensuring we deliver exceptional care while driving the company’s mission and vision forward. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Team, shaping policies, procedures, and long-term goals while fostering a culture of support, innovation, and continuous development for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight & Strategy:

  • Lead Clinical Programs: Oversee all clinical services provided by Practical Audacity, ensuring that best practices, evidence-based methods, and ethical standards are consistently applied.
  • Direct Clinical Staff: Provide leadership, supervision, and mentoring for licensed therapists, counselors, and clinical teams, ensuring effective case management, therapeutic techniques, and client outcomes.
  • Clinical Training & Development: Spearhead ongoing professional development initiatives, including training, certifications, and support systems to ensure the clinical team remains at the forefront of emerging trends and methodologies.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure that all clinical practices meet regulatory requirements and maintain high-quality standards. This includes managing the quality of client care and conducting regular audits and evaluations.
  • Develop Clinical Policies: Work with the executive team to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and professional standards.

Business Leadership & Strategy:

  • Executive Leadership: Collaborate with the Founder to shape and execute the company’s overall business strategy. Play a key role in defining and following through with organizational priorities, goals, and growth strategies.
  • Financial Oversight: Play a primary role in developing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and profitability, ensuring clinical services are delivered within financial and resource parameters, in collaboration with the Founder and Accounting Team.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure that clinical resources (staff, technology, materials) are effectively distributed across the organization to meet both clinical and business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic business planning, focusing on growth opportunities, program development, and scaling services to meet the needs of our diverse client base.

Organizational Development:

  • Staffing & Recruitment: Collaborate with the admin team to recruit, hire, and onboard clinical staff. Establish criteria for clinical performance and contribute to the design of performance evaluation systems.
  • Culture & Team Building: Champion a collaborative and empowering culture that promotes both individual and team success. Ensure that clinical and non-clinical staff work cohesively toward shared organizational goals.
  • Client Experience & Satisfaction: Monitor and improve the overall client experience from initial contact to post-therapy follow-ups. Ensure that clients receive exceptional, individualized care through continuous feedback loops and outcome measures.

External Relations & Community Engagement:

  • Partnerships & Networking: Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including other healthcare providers, insurance companies, and community organizations to enhance Practical Audacity’s position in the marketplace.
  • Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Represent Practical Audacity in public forums, professional organizations, and conferences, contributing to the advancement of mental health services and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctoral or Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related mental health field. Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of clinical experience, including 5 years in a leadership or executive role overseeing clinical teams and managing both operational and clinical functions in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment that empowers staff to deliver the highest standard of care.

Compensation Information:

Job Type: Full Time, Hybrid

Base Wages: 130,000

Total Compensation: ~147k
