What You’ll Do:
- Work one-on-one with students to provide tailored, culturally responsive support in Math and ELA
- Help students overcome challenges and build a strong foundation in both subjects
- Foster a positive virtual learning environment that encourages curiosity and resilience
- Collaborate with the instructional team and parents to support student progress
- Days: Monday - Friday
- Time: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST
- Duration: February 5, 2025– April 11, 2025
- Experience: Prior experience tutoring or teaching Math and ELA at the elementary and middle school level is preferred
- Bilingual Skills: Fluent in both English and Russian, with the ability to provide academic support in both languages
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online platforms for virtual tutoring sessions and adapting to digital tools
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to connect effectively with students and parents
- Team Player: Collaborative spirit and a willingness to work with the instructional team
- Passion: A commitment to educational equity and supporting students from diverse backgrounds
- Availability: Must be able to work the specified schedule consistently
- Competitive Pay: Earn $22/hr with the opportunity to increase to $24.20/hr through a completion bonus
