What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, small-group Math instruction
- Provide push-in support to multiple classrooms, assisting students with targeted skill development
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence in mathematics
- Work closely with educators to tailor instruction to students’ needs and track progress effectively
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Duration: February 25, 2025 – April 24, 2025 (excluding holidays and school conferences)
- Key Dates Off:
- March 6: Elementary and K-8 Parent-Teacher Conferences
- March 13: Middle School Parent-Teacher Conferences
- March 21: High School 6-12 Parent-Teacher Conferences
- March 31: Eid al-Fitr
- April 14–18: Spring Recess
- Experience: Prior experience tutoring or teaching elementary school math
- Subject Proficiency: Strong knowledge of elementary-level math concepts
- Team Player: Collaborative spirit and a desire to work closely with teachers and students
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to connect effectively with diverse audiences
- Passion: A commitment to educational equity and social justice for minority and low-income students
- Availability: Must be able to work the specified schedule consistently
- Competitive Pay: Earn $22/hr with the opportunity to increase to $24.20/hr through a completion bonus
