Internal Medicine Physician Job with Broward Health in Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Broward HealthPoint, an affiliate of Broward Health, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine physicians to join our growing outpatient physician group. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering superior patient care, possess excellent clinical skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Clinic Locations: Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Lauderdale Lakes

Key Responsibilities

• Fully engaged in the concept of “Integrated team-based care” model
• Focusing on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention
• Demonstrates both autonomy and proficiency in the performance of comprehensive health assessments and communicates Plan of Care with Patients and/or their families.
• Proficient in diagnosing, treating and managing the Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities.
• Effectively communicates with all members of the care team and facilitates a medically appropriate and effective plan of care to avoid unnecessary duplication of testing, and fragmentation of care.
• Observes the scope of practice in the state in which he or she is licensed and working in.
  
  

Schedule Requirement

• This is a FULL-TIME position.
• Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  
  

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• Valid medical license in the state of FL, or ability to obtain a FL license.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
