Broward HealthPoint is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our specialty care center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As an affiliate of Broward Health, we focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary approach. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient psychiatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with mental health and behavioral disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices.
- Provide psychotherapy or counseling, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise and mentor Advanced Practice Providers, residents or medical students, if applicable.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities.
- Serve as a resource for mental health education and support within the local community.
- BC/BE in Psychiatry
- Valid medical license in the state of FL, or ability to obtain a FL license.
- Strong clinical skills with experience managing a diverse range of psychiatric conditions.
- Experience in outpatient or community health psychiatry settings.
