UK King's Daughters is a 465-bed regional referral center in Ashland, Kentucky. We are part of the University of Kentucky Health system. We own 40 primary care clinics in outlying areas of Kentucky and Ohio which refer patients from a catchment area of about 750,000 people to our main campus for testing and treatment. Last year, we began a large construction project on campus, which will provide us with a new main entrance, a brand-new ER and an all-new Imaging Department. Our Emergency Department sees nearly 80,000 patients per year. Three years ago, a hospital in our community was closed, and since then, our facility has experienced tremendous growth in our patient volumes.
We have an open position for an Interventional Pain physician to join four others in our Interventional Spine & Pain Center. We are accepting candidates with residencies in both PM&R and Anesthesia. The incoming physician will have a guaranteed salary of $400,000-450,000 for the first two years and will be on a productivity model after that. The physician will also receive excellent benefits, including health, vision, dental and life insurance, paid occurrence for malpractice coverage, long term disability, six weeks of vacation, one additional week and $5,000 for CME, 401k/403b retirement plans and a CAP retirement savings plan for physicians only. Additionally, we offer a signing bonus and student loan repayment.
