Urology Physician Job with Veterans Health Administration in Huntington, WV

The Hershel “Woody” Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Huntington, W. Va. is a fully accredited 80-bed acute medical and surgical care facility that provides primary care and specialty health services, including radiology, mental health services, women’s health care, prosthetics, general surgery, bariatric surgery, orthopedic surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, pain management, palliative care, and more.

Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking to add a Urologist to our excellent Surgery team in our Huntington VA Medical Center. We are seeking a BE/BC Urologist with an unrestricted MD / DO medical license, who shares our commitment to providing excellent care to our US Veterans.Experience in minimally invasive urological procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries using the DaVinci Surgical System, is a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Practice the full scope of General Urology clinical care
• Develop patient treatment plans
• Provide on-call coverage
• Establish and support professional working relationships with clinical service providers within the medical center, outpatient clinics (OPCs) and the community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs)
