- This role involves overseeing all aspects of assigned projects, including material management, equipment coordination, and personnel supervision.
- The Superintendent will be responsible for maintaining clear lines of communication between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Managing project schedules and coordinating inspections
- Providing effective leadership and direction to team members
- Communicating project information to stakeholders and resolving issues as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (highly preferred)
- 5-10 years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a superintendent or similar role
- Proven track record of contract compliance in government construction
- Instructor-signed OSHA 30-hour training card
- Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and hazard identification procedures
- Ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings
- First Aid/CPR/AED certified
- USACE CQM desired
