Financial Controller Role at Prairie Band, LLC
Prairie Band, LLC is a tribally owned business and multifaceted holding company.
We have partnerships involving teaming, and joint venture relationships with outside organizations to leverage the preference advantages tribally owned businesses have in government and corporate contracting.

As a Financial Controller, you will administer accounting operations for the holding company and related subsidiary companies.
You will oversee the production of financial reports, maintain an adequate system of accounting records, and mitigate risk.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Prepare and oversee the annual budget process.
- Maintain a schedule of amortization entries.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure the accuracy of financial forecasts.
- Maintain fixed assets in accounting systems and software.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Provide regular updates to the CFO on general financial matters.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- 3-5 years' experience in accounting.
- Experience in manufacturing and convenience store accounting is helpful.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must possess great organization and attention-to-detail skills.
