Prairie Community Bank is a growing community bank with 3 locations in Marengo, Union and Elgin, IL!

This role is focused on building customer relationships and providing excellent customer service.

The position would:

• Process customer transactions with accuracy, efficiency and friendliness, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, etc.
• Receive checks and cash for deposit, loan payments and check cashing, verifying amount, signature and endorsements on all checks.
• Assist customers with their banking needs.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer in accordance with policy limits, and procedures.
• Possess or be trained for a complete knowledge of Prairie Community Bank deposit products and ancillary products offered, including online banking, mobile banking, bill pay and debit cards, etc.
• Possess or be trained for a general knowledge and understanding of consumer loan products offered, as well as other services available at Prairie.
• Process customer information and account data for new and existing customers into computer database, accurately and efficiently.
• Develops and maintains communication skills with customers.
• Process mail and night depository deposits accurately ad in accordance with Bank procedures.
• Processes, corrects &/or balances daily proof work.
• Learns to comply with all banking regulations, policies and procedures, including but not limited to BSA/AML, as related to this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
